Inspiration Drink Teaching & Learning Lab online – The Mixed Classroom: where science & practice come together!

The Teaching & Learning Lab organizes an Inspiration Café every second Thursday of the month. Alternately, a story by a teacher, a student or an interesting educational tool will be presented. But above all, there is an opportunity to exchange ideas about education with colleagues. You are responsible for the drink from the fridge and maybe a bite, then we will take care of the Inspiration!

On Wednesday April 7, Peter Pelzer of the Mixed Classroom project will be our guest. In the Mixed Classroom, a group of 30 students and policy makers work together on solutions for climate ‘problems’ in the future. Students learn from the practical experience of policy staff, while they in turn benefit from the up-to-date knowledge and fresh perspective of the young students. Each year the course zooms in on one theme, for example circular economy (2019-2020), mobility (2018-2019) or climate adaptation.

During the Inspiration Café, Peter will be happy to tell you more about how this project was set up, how the participants and teachers experienced it and how you can perhaps get started with a similar project in your own education. Reason enough to join us on April 7!
