The next edition of the OnderwijsFestival is planned for Thursday the 6th of March, 2025.

During 2024’s edition, 426 participants attended the OnderwijsFestival: 178 teachers, 173 staff members and 75 students. It was a day full of inspiring and instructive activities on various educational topics. The panel discussion on Artificial Intelligence (AI) focused on how to integrate AI in education and ensure that education remains human work.

In addition to instructive workshops on Community Engaged Learning and education with Extended Reality, among others, there was also room for relaxation, including a street poetry walk and a silent disco. In addition, teachers presented their scientific research on their own teaching (SoTL) in poster presentations. At the end of the day, the winners of the annual Teacher Awards and the UU Team Prize were also announced.
